Los adaptadores de red a través del puerto USB se han vuelto muy populares y funcionan sin problemas en Debian Sarge, uno de estos dispositivos ofrece los siguientes mensajes cuando se conecta :

Indicando que se podrá emplear la interfaz eth3 para configurar la tarjeta de red de forma usual, no se requiere descargar drivers adicionales.
En Bogotá este tipo de tarjetas se puede conseguir por $30.000(Marzo 2007).
